Originally from Singapore, Cherling graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and worked in general practice for a year before spending two years in a surgical practice in Singapore.
During her stint in referral practice and the exposure to varied patients and cases requiring different levels of care, Cherling developed an interest in managing critical care patients and has since relocated to veterinary emergency in Melbourne. Cherling finds emergency to be particularly rewarding, and it is in her professional goal to gain ANZCVS membership in emergency and critical care in the near future.
Outside of work, Cherling enjoys participating in team sport such as volleyball and has also recently picked up playing badminton doubles. She is also a fan of art and film, and food. Mostly food.
