I spent many years working solely as a surgical nurse for the referral team before my first maternity leave. Two children later and a move to a rural country town, I find myself primarily an emergency nurse (but still love a good surgery).

I have two rescue dogs, four cockatiels and 10 chickens. I’m hoping to convince my husband to expand that menagerie soon!

I have strong interests in gardening, permaculture and needlework, but my passion always has, and always will be, animals.
