Sally has been a human physiotherapist for 20 years and has worked across many specialty areas in many tertiary hospitals in the UK and Australia. She brings this experience to her animal work and loves being based in a specialist centre, working closely with the various veterinary specialists to get the best outcomes for our patients during their recovery.
Physiotherapists utilize many skills and treatment modalities to reduce pain and improve the recovery and function of patients. Sally uses various techniques such as massage and manual therapy, acupuncture, electrical stimulation, taping and targeted exercises to improve the function and quality of life of all her patients.
Sally began her work with animals in 2016 and completed her post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2018. She has been fortunate to work across a variety of veterinary specialist centres but has happily settled here at ARH.
In her spare time she can be found with her border collies Scout and Jem in the flyball lanes or sheep herding, but she also enjoys listening to audiobooks, swimming and paddle boarding.
