Charlie graduated from the University of Bristol, U.K. in July 2015 with degrees in veterinary science and zoology. He initially worked in small animal practice in the West Midlands before making the move down under in 2016 to complete a 12 month internship at a referral hospital in Brisbane. It was here where he discovered his keen interest in veterinary oncology.
Charlie spent the past three years in a busy general practice in Melbourne before returning to sunny Brisbane to undertake an oncology internship with Maurine, Kathleen and Elizabeth. He is interested in all aspects of medical and surgical oncology, but especially tumours of haematopoietic and lymphoid tissues.
Outside of work Charlie enjoys hiking in national parks and trying (and often failing) not to burn on the beautiful Australian beaches. He also makes an obligatory annual trip back to England to spend time with family, but also loves being at home with his partner and their ginger rescue cat Winston.
