Michelle Sorrenson

Michelle started her nursing career in general practice in 1997, and has worked a long career with animals since.

In 2001 she took on the role as live-in nurse and worked the after hours emergency service at a well known large scale general practice. In 2005, she jumped career paths and went on to work at the Victor Chang Cardiac Institute as a Transgenic Technical Officer. Having a family redirected Michelle into parting knowledge and Skills as a teacher at at TAFE, but a thirst for excitement drew her back into Emergency nursing.

She recently achieved her Diploma in ECC and her current role as Practice Manager extends across two Emergency and Critical Care hospitals. She has a strong passion for continuing education and training nurses, and loves the outdoor farm life where she lives with her husband, two children, mother and a collection of cows, sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs and three geriatric cats.
