Erica Steppat graduated from Sydney University in 1995. She began her Veterinary career in mixed practice in northern NSW then travelled to the UK for 3 years. Here, she worked as a Locum Veterinarian at many various practices (mixed and small animal) and travelled the world extensively.
On her return to Australia, she worked in Emergency at ARH before returning to private small animal practice.
In 2009, she began teaching Veterinary Nursing at TAFE NSW whilst continuing to work in practice. Erica has very much enjoys sharing her experience and knowledge with her students. She teaches Veterinary Nursing and Diploma of Veterinary Nursing (emergency and critical care) whilst continuing casual shifts in Emergency at ARH.
