Dr Alex graduated from Charles Sturt University and her passion for emergency medicine and surgery saw her start her career as an emergency veterinarian in the outskirts of Sydney. Her desire to further her knowledge in a specialist environment led her to the ARH team in 2017.
Dr Alex enjoys the challenge and fast pace of emergency medicine, and has a special interest in the management of complex snake envenomation cases. She also enjoys exotic pet medicine and surgery (particularly reptiles).
She spends her spare time watching movies, riding her horse, playing paintball and painting. She has two horses, a toy poodle, cats, snakes, geckos and an Oscar fish.
Dr Alex is a veterinarian working as a part of the Emergency and Critical Care Team in Homebush.
