Elizabeth graduated from the University of Queensland in 2010. After graduating she spent two years working in mixed practice in Northern New South Wales.
Elizabeth then returned to Queensland where she worked in small animal practice for 12 months before commencing a 12 month rotating internship at a busy referral practice in Brisbane.
In 2015, Elizabeth completed a 12-month oncology internship with current ARH oncologists, Kathleen O’Connell and Maurine Thompson, during which time she successfully passed her membership examinations of the ANZCVS in small animal internal medicine. In January 2016 she commenced a residency in veterinary oncology. Elizabeth completed her residency at the end of 2017 and she is now focussing on her Fellowship examinations in 2019. She is particularly interested in haematopoietic tumours and is passionate about maintaining an excellent quality of life for her patients.
Outside of work Elizabeth is often studying, riding her horses or walking her dogs.
