Dr Elizabeth Dill-Macky

Following graduation from the University of Queensland in 1982, Elizabeth completed an internship in small animal clinical studies at the University of Sydney.

Her specialty training in small animal internal medicine was undertaken in the USA with a residency at the University of Florida followed by a year as a clinical instructor at the University of Pennsylvania.

Elizabeth subsequently worked as a small animal medical registrar at the University of Sydney for eight years before becoming one of the first internal medicine specialists and directors of the Animal Referral Hospital in Sydney.

For the last seven years she has lived overseas with her husband and Morris, their cat, working in Switzerland, at the University of Bern’s veterinary hospital, and at a private specialist and emergency hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Excited to be back in Australia again, she is one of the founding partners at the new ARH Brisbane hospital.

Elizabeth is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and a Member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in small animal medicine.
